THE MARK OF CAIN: ILL AT EASE VINYL REISSUE AND LIVE DATES!

Feel are proud to present for the first time ever The Mark Of Cain performing their 1995 magnum-opus Ill At Ease live!

Produced by Henry Rollins and featuring the singles First Time. Tell Me and LMA plus crowd favourites InterloperThe Contender and Pointman Ill At Ease took the bands trademark brutal bass-heavy sound and lyrical themes of isolation and despair to new terrain as they made the leap from relative obscurity in hometown Adelaide to the main stages of legendary festivals including the Big Day Out, Brisbane’s Livid Festival and Homebake.

“This album became our watershed moment and helped firmly place us in the zeitgeist of that momentous 90’s era in Australian music.” – John Scott

“The record is UN-BELIEVABLE. It’s just one of the best things I have ever heard. I’m so proud to be involved.” – Henry Rollins

But wait! That’s not all; a companion piece Livid Live ’96, the complete thirty-minute set from Brisbane’s 1996 Livid Festival, has been remixed by ABC engineer Phil McKellar and will be made available as a stand-alone album on blood red vinyl.

Ill At Ease and Livid Live ‘96 are to be released October 27th through Cooking Vinyl Australia and available for pre-order now from tmoc.com.au

TMOC vs TAYLOR SWIFT

ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME!
The reissued double coloured vinyl gatefold sleeve deluxe edition of The Mark Of Cain’s Ill At Ease is currently sitting at no.9 on the national mainstream charts sandwiched between two Taylor Swift releases, below the Stones and above Drake but the only Australian entry. Normally that would be a cause for celebration but orders have come down from the top (Kim..) to beat out Tay Tay or else. So if you haven’t already purchased your remastered, digitally enhanced copy of IAE now is the time. Available from all good independent record stores, JB Hi-Fi or direct from tmoc.com.au. You can also stream the album to your hearts content. Put it on repeat, walk away, it’s all good! And all counts towards the chart.

CHIMERS IMPRESS AT EVERY SHOW

Ain’t no denying it Chimers were a stand-out at Sydney’s Off The Rails Festival over the October long weekend. Pummeling rhythms and catchy riffs make for an immediate impact. The new songs are sounding the goods and the older tracks coming across like a greatest hits. Lots of opportunities to catch them before years end with shows in Sydney, Melbourne and hometown Wollongong. Do yourself a favour…

TILMOUTH OXLEY MARSALIS ARE THE REAL DEAL!

Tilmouth Oxley Marsalis are an exciting new all-star rock band from Sydney. Featuring former NoKTuRNL frontman, guitarist and Arrente man Craig Tilmouth, Sunnyboys / Ed Kuepper bassist Peter Oxley and gun for hire Dave Marsalis on drums. Together they create a racket via material written by both Craig and Peter and with the odd left-field cover thrown in (Sex Pistols, Thin Lizzy) to give you some measure of their sound.

They play just their second ever show Friday October 20th at the Gasoline Pony, Marrickville with guests The Night Packers. Tickets are just $10 and available now. https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1103106
