CARIBOU SHARES NEW SINGLE ‘BROKE MY HEART’

Following on from his April single ‘Honey’, Caribou unveils ‘Broke My Heart’ which he says, came to him pretty much fully-formed:

“I always find it hard to believe those “it came to me in a dream” stories about songs arriving fully formed…but this one was pretty close to that, which is not how it usually goes for me. I sat down at a piano one day and the string riff was just there at my fingertips, and the vocal melody followed right behind it. I wish they all happened like that.”

Honey, the new single from Canadian electro-EDM boffin Caribou sits somewhere between that moniker and his alter-ego Daphni, and we’re really loving every second of it. The imagery is quite beautiful and hypnotic as well.  Check the video here and decide for yourself.
