Fancy Weapon is another new project for ultra-productive guitarist Mick Turner, also featuring Guy Maddison (Mudhoney), Joel Silbersher (God / Hoss) and Claire Birchall (Paper Planes). Their debut self-titled LP is to be released by Melbourne label Poison City (Bleak Squad, Frenzee, Camp Cope, Cable Ties, Chimers) in July and is a collaboration in every sense with all members contributing material that recalls some of their respective pasts but which also moves in a number of new directions, as expected from such high calibre and passionate creators.
