NEW MUSIC FROM OLD PLACES

A current staple in the Feel office, eclectic indie-folk outfit The Low Anthem emerged from an abandoned pasta sauce factory last month where they finished recording their new album, Smart Flesh. The album scored Album Of The Week in the weeks Drum Media – read about it here and check out some of the new tracks on Myspace now. Also on the verge of a new album. Duluth slow-core trio Low. Sign up to their mailing list for a free download of the first single Try To Sleep and check out the glorious old church in which they recorded the album, simply titled C’mon here. J Mascis has just released another solo album with the whole thing currently streaming on the Spin website. Fingers crossed for Australian tours from all of these acts in the not too distant future.
