CAT POWER SUPPORTS ANNOUNCED
Mick Turner, guitarist for the Dirty Three, sometime collaborator with Chan Marshall and master of the understated has been confirmed as support to Cat Power for shows in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane and Adelaide. Turner will perform his lanquid sounds in solo-mode with help from a mellotrone, a keyboard and some simple home projections. Like we said, understated. Meanwhile local three piece Bushwalking – made up of members of Songs, Fabulous Diamonds and Kes Band – will do the honours in Melbourne.
