SUNNYBOYS DO VIVID!

The most unlikely reformation of the last whatever… continues to roll-on with the announcement today of the first Sydney headline show in 22 years for that most cherished of all bands: Sunnyboys. Jeremy, Peter, Richard and Bil will follow-up their surprise return at Dig It Up! 2012 (performing under the name Kids In Dust), and special guest slot to Elvis Costello at A Day On the Green earlier this year, with a show on June 2nd as part of the Vivid Festival in the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall – howzat!

The show will be preceded by the premiere of the movie The Sunnyboy, a documentary on Sunnyboys singer / songwriter / guitarist Jeremy Oxley – from his life as a surfing protege to the rollercoaster ride of the Sunnyboys to life post-Sunnyboys, his battle with schizophrenia and to now – a moving and emotional experience for sure.

The Sunnyboy will be shown in the Opera House Opera Theatre in the late afternoon of June 2nd allowing everyone the chance to see both the movie and the live performance.

Tickets for both events go on-sale Wednesday March 27th via The Sydney Opera House
